Life Saver Survival Swim School, LLC gives only private swim lessons to their students in Houston, Texas. Some parents and/or students may prefer group lessons, but that is not what we offer. Our private classes are somewhat customized to fit the student receiving the training. In this manner, the student receives the biggest “bang” for their parents’ “buck”. That is just how we do it at our swim school!
There is nothing wrong with group swim lessons. Some parents want their children to have social interaction with groups of other children. Or, maybe the student just needs that social interaction. We just don’t give that here at our school.
Why Our Swim Lessons Are Only Private
Our lessons are one-on-one. The student has the undivided attention of the instructor. This makes it much easier for the student to learn what the instructor wants to teach them.
This is important since most of our students are so young. Our young students have an attention span that is not very long. That’s one of the reasons our swim classes last only 10-12 minutes per lesson. Once they lose that attention span, they won’t learn anything that they will remember.
Teaching our students one-on-one also allows us to make adjustments around your schedule. This can’t be done when you are teaching a group of students. So many of our student’s mothers and fathers work, it is important sometimes that we adjust our schedules.
One-on-one teaching will also allow our instructors to adjust for special accommodations when needed. This can’t be done when a group of students are being taught. Take for instance a child that be hard of hearing. In private classes, the instructor can make custom arrangements that couldn’t be done in group classes.
